Shipment Consolidation

BridgeNet analyzes a client's shipping characteristics in order to determine the logic that should be used to consolidate shipments going to the same location with the same service into fewer shipments using a lower-cost mode.  We then facilitate a plan to implement consolidation staging area rules and/or implement a BridgeNet software package that enables the client to realize savings.  BridgeNet monitors the progress of implementation and reports any facility non-compliance to the client.

Advanced Data Feeds

Inbound shipping information (future inventory) is transmitted to the Carrier from the Vendor. Hourly updates are transferred to BridgeNet Solutions Servers from the Carrier system. Data is then sent automatically to the client's system via phone, fax, XML, or by web, allowing the client to view inventory reports within any department before inventory arrives.

Mode Optimization

BridgeNet analyzes a client's shipping characteristics in order to identify shipments that could have been shipped using a less costly service or mode.  We also identify those shipments that qualify by weight for a lower-cost mode and those that could use deficit weight in order to qualify for a lower-cost mode.  We then facilitate a plan to implement routing guide rules and/or a BridgeNet software package that will enable the client to realize savings.

Zone Optimization

BridgeNet analyzes a client's shipment data in order to develop all possible redistribution scenarios and their associated savings; specifically, we determine whether redistributing a portion of all high-zone shipments being sent from the client's DC to an alternate DC that has optimum zones will result in better rates.  BridgeNet implements the client's DC volume redistribution decisions in order to realize savings, monitors the progress of implementation, and reports any DC non-compliance to the client.
